Lil Wayne was released from prison on Thursday after serving eight months in New York's Rikers Island. He flew to Arizona the next day to finalize his probation stemming from another case, and he later made quick appearances in New Orleans and Las Vegas over the weekend.
Now, Weezy has returned to Miami, in his state of residency, where he's set to be feted at a welcome-home party Sunday night (November 7) in his honor.

"I went to Tom Ford to get something to wear," Drake told MTV News about the affair.

Wayne is scheduled to attend a private dinner with his Cash Money affiliates, including label CEO Bryan "Baby" Williams and Ronald "Slim" Williams, and later, Weezy will party the night away at King of Diamonds, a gentleman's club in the Sunshine State.
The guest list for the festivities has not been made public, but Drake said Diddy, Rick Ross, Young Jeezy and more could show up for the events.

The charismatic lyricist has kept a low profile since his release, however, only attending an NBA game with friends and performing one song with Drake during the Young Money star's last tour stop.
On Sunday, that could certainly change, even though under the provisions of Wayne's probation for his 2008 Arizona drug case prohibit him from consuming alcohol for three years.

"It's going to be crazy. It's going to be real elegant, extravagant. We gonna party like when Frank [Sinatra] came home, like [the movie] 'King of New York,' " Mack Maine told MTV News on Wednesday.

"It should be a lot of beautiful women, just ... beautiful scenery. Just treat him like a king, like the royalty that he is, and make him feel like we really missed him, and welcome him back to the family."
